Baked Baby Figs with Dark Chocolate Sauce

Do you like figs? Up until now I never really got a handle on why people raved about figs. Once I came up with this recipe I fell in love, so thought it an apt dish to serve on Valentine's Day.

Raw Cacao & Coconut Squares

A real easy plant-based treat. It has a moreish gooey texture from the fridge and seems so wickedly indulgent. As some of you have asked for more treats I'd thought we'll start with this one. So if your fingers are creeping towards the cookie jar then STOP and give these a go. If you're really longing for more indulgence drizzle some melted dark chocolate over and savour. We usually find one or two of these is enough to sate.

Sweet Potato Soup with Tahini Dressing and Savoury Seeds

You'll nearly always find one or two sweet potatoes lurking in our storecupboard. It's regularly showing up in our soups, stews, tasty healthy fries and cakes. Just as well we love it! If you thought vegan soups are boring, think again. Here we show how easy it is to liven up a sweet potato soup and amaze your friends. Sure they'll be coming back for more!

Baked Parsnip Fries

There never seems enough of these parsnip chips when we make them. They are so easy to make and enjoy. Some of our friends sprinkle nutmeg on them before sending them off to the oven for the big bake. You might like to try that one yourself too.

Let's shout out for the much under-loved parsnip. At least it was in this house until we changed our tune about a couple of years ago. Now it's either parsnips or spuds, and rarely the two at the same meal. I know we're big trendsettes here (and not!).

'Eat Me Now!: Raw Cacao & Quinoa Nibbles

What can I say, it's Christmas and time to indulge in chocolate. Come to think of it anytime is a great time to indulge in chocolate, especially healthy raw cacao. This recipe is a handy one and if you prefer more sweetness then try adding some cinnamon or more dried fruit.

Butternut Squash Soup

Go on you must like an easy satisfying soup. What better veg than a butternut squash to fill the gap. Cosy up to this great standby. Especially if you've have it prepared beforehand in the fridge to have as a quick lunch or light supper. Add a few slices of gluten-free bread or hummus and veggie batons and you're sorted.

Apple & Blackberry Crumble

A definite comfort food to sweeten the coldest of days. This one is free of dairy, wheat, gluten if you ensure to use ingredients you use are.

Acai & Hemp Porridge

Another delicious, quick and nutritious breakfast - what more could you ask for in a breakfast?
