An easy recipe to prep and have ready for those busy weekend days. If you prefer not to make unsweetened apple sauce you can always use maple syrup. If you use maple syrup instead of the apple sauce then try 3 tablespoons and mix through, check flavour and if needs be add in another tablespoon.
This "quinola" is crunchy with a hint of sweetness.

Wickedly delicious treats and one of the first dairy-free treats I ever made. Friends who don't have a sweet tooth fine excuses to scoff them off. It is a simple recipe but sometimes I meet someone who hasn't even heard of it before. For those of you who haven't and I may never meet you here's a simple recipe for a sweet treat. I remember one person who hadn't a sweet tooth said she uses them as a treat after Saturday family meal. A handy replacement for a dessert and much smaller amount of sweetness. 

Quick and easy midweek breakfast when you're in a hurry. Ideal for packing to travel into work, then add the almond milk when you arrive.
